Staying in Kerem HaTeimanim

Kerem HaTeimanim is a lively, colourful neighbourhood beside the Carmel Market, with narrow streets, small restaurants and wine bars. It is a good base if you want to live like a local, a short walk from the sea.

Staying in Kerem HaTeimanim

The feel of the neighbourhood

Built in the early twentieth century by Yemenite Jewish immigrants, Kerem HaTeimanim has narrow lanes and low buildings. The streets are busy by day and around the market, and calmer in side lanes.

The Carmel Market on your doorstep

The market is next to the neighbourhood: fresh produce, spices, bakeries and street food, a few minutes from our buildings on Yehya Kapah and Rabbi Meir streets.

Eating and drinking

Small restaurants, wine bars and cafés are packed into the neighbourhood. Many are casual and local.

The beach and the city

The sea is a short walk or ride away. Nachalat Binyamin, Neve Tzedek and Rothschild Boulevard are also close.
