Levinsky Market: a visitor guide

Levinsky Market is Florentin's food street: spice stalls, nut and dried-fruit sellers, bakeries, delis and small roasteries packed into a few blocks. It is steps from our hotel, and it is how many of our guests start their morning.

Levinsky Market: a visitor guide

What to try

Look for fresh-baked pastries, olives, cheeses, halva, roasted nuts and freshly ground spices. Most stalls are happy to let you taste before you buy.

When to go

Mornings are the best time: the stalls are fully set up and it is not yet crowded. Check opening hours before you go, as many stalls close or have shorter hours on Friday afternoon and Saturday.

How to get there from the hotel

It is a few minutes on foot from De Mar Florentine on Zevulun Street. No transport needed.

Bring something back

Spices, tea blends and dried fruit are easy to pack and make good gifts. Ask the vendors to vacuum-seal for travel.

Combine it with

A coffee on Zevulun Street, a walk through the Florentin street art, or the longer walk to Jaffa. See our other local guides.
